SHEBOYGAN COUNTY, WI (WHBL) - The housing market in Sheboygan County during the month of June was similar to what is was in May.
According to the latest numbers from the Wisconsin Realtors Association, the number of homes sold last month was up 12 units when compared to the same month in 2014. However, the median price for homes sold was down six-percent from last year.
Sheboygan County has seen a up and down housing market through the first half of 2015, but so far home sales are up 18 units, or nearly three-percent, from the same time period last year. The median home price is also up, but only by half-a-percent or less than a thousand dollars.
When comparing numbers for the housing market in all of Wisconsin and all other counties in the state, Sheboygan County looks to be in a minority. The W-R-A reports the state, and the majority of its 72 counties, have seen both home sales and the price of homes on the increase both last month and through all of 2015.
