SHEBOYGAN, WI (WHBL) - A Sheboygan woman will serve probation for her role in a bar fight back in April.
Judge Terence Bourke found 39-year-old Serenity Gentry guilty of a disorderly conduct misdemeanor last week. He sentenced her to one year probation, with eligibility for an early release if obligations are fulfilled, but could also serve 30 days in jail if she breaks probation.
Gentry had been charged with substantial battery for hitting a woman at a Sheboygan bar, causing her to be hospitalized with serious injuries, but it was reduced.
According to the criminal complaint, Gentry got upset after overhearing the victim had left her children with her mother so she could go out.
