SHEBOYGAN, Wis. (WHBL) - In case you haven’t noticed, it’s a terrible year for potholes. Sheboygan street workers are working continuously to keep up with the potholes. Public Works Director Dave Biebel says it’s the worst year for potholes in the past 10 years. “With all the freeze and thaw activity and the rain, snow and ice events it's caused a lot of havoc with the roadways," he said. Biebel says they have 8 crews continuously working to patch the potholes. He said, “It’s temporary to get us through to springtime when we can do a permanent patch, but we have to get out there and fill the holes as best we can to get us through the winter season.”
