TOWN OF WILSON, WI (WHBL) - No one was hurt when an airplane made an emergency landing in a Town of Wilson farm field Sunday.
The Sheboygan County Sheriff's Department says they got word around 11:35 a.m. from the Federal Aviation Administration in MIlwaukee that a plane crashed in southern Sheboygan County.
A short time later the pilot of the plane, a Cleveland, WI man, called the department to inform them his Mooney airplane lost engine power and he was forced to make an emergency landing in a field near County Road A north of County Road V.
The pilot, the only person in the airplane, was not injured in the incident. Also, the plane landed intact with no fuel leakage.
The FAA is investigating the incident.
