SHEBOYGAN, WI (WHBL) - The Sheboygan Area School District will be handing out diplomas to the class of 2015 this Sunday. As has been the tradition for years, the ceremony will take place inside the bowl at Vollrath Park.
The Sheboygan Police Department is reminding attendess that North 3rd Street between Park Avenue and Vollrath Boulevard will be closed to traffic from 11 a.m. until around 5 p.m. Vollrath Boulevard on the north side of the park will be available for handicap parking only. Also keep in mind no pets will be allowed at the park, and no alcoholic beverages between noon and 6 p.m.
All of this will be dependent on the weather, and the forecast is calling for showers and thunderstorms Sunday. The district says they will make a decision around 9 a.m. Sunday regarding if the ceremony will be moved indoors.
