RANDOM LAKE, WI (WHBL) - Random Lake residents can say thank you to their former long serving village president Saturday. An open house event is scheduled at the Random Lake Historical Society Museum and Kathy’s 111 Trackside Café from 4 to 7.
The event is to honor Bob McDermott, who served as village president from 1987 to 2015. His efforts to serve more than 28 years were halted last month when he lost his re-election bid to Matthew Brockmeier.
A special presentation will be held at 5 p.m., and the event is sponsored by the village and the Random Lake Area Chamber of Commerce.
