Oshkosh, WI (WHBL- KFIZ) - Oshkosh Police are warning residents about fraudulent real estate postings on Craigslist and Zillow. Police were told by one resident about one post currently on Craigslist about a house in the 800 block of Jefferson St. in Oshkosh. The ad states the owner no longer lives in the residence and has fired the realtor and the owner is now seeking a renter. The ad goes on asking for personal information. The resident realized it was a scam and contacted the owners.
