
SHEBOYGAN COUNTY, WI (WHBL) - As the rest of Wisconsin sees strong home sale numbers, Sheboygan County is one of the few exceptions.
The latest figures from the Wisconsin Realtors Association shows homes sales in Sheboygan County were down five units last month when compared to March of 2014. The median home price did increase just over one-percent in March, but that is well below the state’s increase of nearly nine-percent.
Through the first quarter of 2015, home sales in Sheboygan County are down 21 units compared to this time last year. The one bright spot in the report is that the median home price is up nearly eight percent, a few tenth’s above the state’s average.
