Sheboygan, WI (WHBL) – Sheboygan County Circuit Court Judge Edward Stengel sentenced 56 year old Michael W. Crawford to serve three years in state prison for an OWI conviction. This marks Crawford’s 7th conviction for driving drunk in the state of Wisconsin.
The latest OWI stems from a law enforcement traffic stop that was conducted on December 13, 2014.
Online court records show that on March 10, 2015, Crawford entered a plea of no contest to a charge of operating a vehicle while intoxicated. In addition to serving three years in prison, Judge Stengel ordered Crawford to spend four years on probation - during which, he is banned from consuming alcoholic beverages, illegal drugs or possessing drug paraphernalia, and his driver’s license is revoked for three years.
In 2008, Crawford was sentenced to two years in prison, and three years of probation by Sheboygan County Circuit Court Judge Timothy Van Akkeren. That was his 6th OWI conviction – to which he also entered a plea of no contest.
