Fond du Lac, WI (WHBL) - Four people were hurt in a chain reaction accident that shut down Interstate 41 S, in Fond du Lac for six hours, Wednesday. The accident happened just south of county road OO at approximately 1:55pm.
Wisconsin State police say the driver of a 2002 Buick slowed down in a construction zone, and that vehicle was struck from behind by an eighteen wheeler.
A chain reaction accident followed as the Buick was pushed into a 2003 Chevrolet 3500 truck, which then pushed into a 1998 Infiniti I30.
US 41SB was closed from 2 pm to 8 pm and detour route was STH 26 to STH 151N to 41SB. Wisconsin State Patrol is investigating and reconstructing the crash.
