Fond du Lac, WI (WHBL) - At least five law enforcement agencies helped Wisconsin State Patrol to rescue a woman, and her two year old child- who were reported as possible kidnapping victims, in Outagamie County.
According to a press release issued by the Wisconsin Department of Transportation, the Fond du Lac County Sheriff’s Dept. relayed information about a possible kidnapping to the Wisconsin State Patrol - Fond du Lac Post, Thursday afternoon.
It was reported that the suspect was in possession of a gun, and shot out a window on a gold 2002 Oldsmobile Intrigue, in which he and the victims were last spotted.
State police spotted the car on US41 near WI33, and took the man into custody. The woman and her child are safe, and were not injured.
