SHEBOYGAN, WI (WHBL) - The Memorial Day parade in Sheboygan has a new coordinator. Mayor Mike Vandersteen said Thursday Kohler Credit Union will take over for Jerry and Ingrid Wenninger, who stepped down as organizers.
Kohler Credit Union says they will be working with the city, the Wenningers, and local veterans groups to ensure the integrity and strong history of the city’s observance of Memorial Day remain intact.
Activities for the Sheboygan observance include a parade and a ceremony at Fountain Park.
The new agreement is only for this year, but the credit union does anticipate it to be extended in the future.
