SHEBOYGAN, WI (WHBL) - Monday’s water line break in Sheboygan that cancelled classes at Wilson Elementary has not happened as often as they did last winter.
Water Utility Superintendent Joe Trueblood tells WHBL News temperatures have not been as cold as last year, and that has meant fewer infrastructure problems. "Many fewer water main breaks, fewer water lateral that are frozen, and in general just a milder winter for us," says Trueblood.
Trueblood does say that the recent cold snap is causing the frost to deepen, and that could cause some problems if it continues to deepen.
