MILWAUKEE, WI (WHBL) - A former Sheboygan resident will serve 25 years in federal prison for sex trafficking and heroin distribution. Federal prosecutors say evidence showed 33 year old Jason Guidry got three women addicted to heroin and use it to get them to work as prostitutes.
In announcing the sentence Friday, U.S. Attorney for the Eastern District of Wisconsin James Santelle says this was the first federal conviction in the state of someone who used addictive drugs to control the trafficking activities of his victims.
Sheboygan Police arrested Guidry in 2012, and Santelle commended the department’s detectives for their investigative work in the case.
