BATAVIA, WI (WHBL) - Traffic was closed on Highway 28 in Batavia for about an hour and a half Monday morning after a vehicle struck a power pole, which impaired traffic in both lanes. The accident occurred around 8:30. A local detour was used as the accident scene was cleaned up, with the highway re-opening shortly before 10 o'clock. One person was injured and there's no word on what caused the accident.
