SHEBOYGAN, WI (WHBL) - Sheboygan Police have a 30-year-old man in custody for robbing the Subway restaurant on Calumet Drive just after 6pm Sunday. Witnesses say the suspect demanded money and left the store on foot with cash.
Police Lieutenant Doug Teunissen says officers responded quickly to the scene, found out the suspect went into a nearby apartment complex and found him later through a search warrant.
Teunissen says no one was injured and the suspect will face armed robbery charges.
This incident took place two days after a 48-year-old man was taken into custody for robbing a Wells Fargo bank in downtown Sheboygan.
