ORIGINAL POST:

SHEBOYGAN, WI (WHBL) - For the third time in two weeks, a gas station in Sheboygan was the target of an armed robbery.

Sheboygan Police Lieutenant Scott Mittelstadt says a masked man entered the Q-Mart on Weeden Creek Road around 7:15 p.m. Friday evening.  The man displayed a handgun and demanded cash, and was able to leave with an unknown amount of money.  No one was injured.

Middlestadt says the suspect is described as a male with a medium height and build.  He was wearing all dark clothing and a dark mask at the time of the robbery.

This robbery is similar in nature to the armed robberies at a Citgo and Clark gas stations last week.  Earlier this week Sheboygan Police arrested a 20-year-old man in connection to those crimes.

The Sheboygan Police Department is asking everyone to be extra vigilant and keep an eye out for any suspicious people around potential robbery targets.  Anyone who sees anything or knows more about this recent robbery should contact the police at 459-3333.
