SHEBOYGAN, WI (WHBL) - For the second time in three days, a Sheboygan gas station was the target of an armed robbery.
Sheboygan Police Lieutenant Bill Adams says this time it was the Clark Station at the corner of North 15th Street and North Avenue shortly before 10 p.m. Wednesday. "A masked male came into the store, displayed a firearm, and demanded cash, (and) fled the scene. No one was injured," said Adams.
The suspect is described as an African-American with a medium build and height. Adams says the department is treating this and the robbery of a Citgo station Monday as related.
The police are asking for the public’s help. "We’re asking the public to be extra vigilant, pay attention to suspicious people, call in anything that seems likes it’s not right," said Adams.
Sheboygan Police said earlier this week armed robberies are not common occurrences in the city.
