SHEBOYGAN, WI (WHBL) - The latest effort to prevent alcohol sales to minors in Sheboygan went well.
The Sheboygan Police Department conducted their latest ABSOLUTELY 21 program this past week. Sergeant Timothy Patton says of the 27 businesses that were tested to see if they would allow underage drinking or alcohol purchases, only four failed. Those four were given a citation.
Patton says the program is part of an on-going effort to ensure businesses with liquor licenses are diligent in preventing minors from obtaining alcohol and limiting certain crimes in the community.
