SHEBOYGAN COUNTY, WI (WHBL) - Communities across the country are preparing for protests once the grand jury in the Michael Brown shooting releases its finding. Is Sheboygan County one of them?
Both the Sheboygan Police Department and the Sheboygan County Sheriff’s Department say no. Sheriff Todd Priebe says they have not gotten any intelligence that would require them to prepare for a local response.
Police captain Chris Domagalski echoed a similar sentiment and went further, saying his department has tried to improve police relationships with the community. Domagalski says they have dedicated resources to outreach programs to build connections with residents and educate about what role both law enforcement and citizens can perform to ensure a safe neighborhood.
