SHEBOYGAN, WI (WHBL) - Glenn Grothman leads Mark Harris in fundraising for the race to replace Tom Petri. Both candidate filed reports this week with the Federal Election Commission detailing expenses and spending from late July to the end of September. They show Grothman, the Republican State Senator, raised just under $342,000. Harris, the Democrat Winnebago County Executive, raised just over $101,000. As for cash on hand it is much closer as Grothman leads Harris $146,000 to $141,000.
