SHEBOYGAN, WI (WHBL) - A Sheboygan woman faces misdemeanor charges for taking money from a Cousins Subs where she works and making up an armed robbery story to cover it.

According to the criminal complaint, Sheboygan Police responded to the Cousins location on South Taylor Drive just after 8 a.m. Sunday.  There the lone employee, 25 year old Jessica Magritz, told authorities a man forced her to give him around $500 from a safe before leaving.

As police continued their investigation Magritz would change her story of the robbery three times.  She eventually said she took the money from the safe and placed it in a cardboard dumpster outside the store, allegedly for another person to pick up who had threatened her earlier.

She made her first appearance in Sheboygan County Court Monday on obstruction and theft charges.
