SHEBOYGAN, WI (WHBL) - Wisconsin Senator Ron Johnson was in the city of Sheboygan Wednesday morning and told workers at the Old Wisconsin plant on Union Avenue that the federal government is out of control. Johnson toured the plant and then met with a group of workers telling them that the country is headed toward a financial crisis and that Social Security is in trouble. He said the message he is trying to spread is that these and other problems won't get solved until federal politicians face these realities.
Johnson also commented on the U.S. effort to stop the spread of ISIS. He said the group must be stopped, and that no matter the goal it must be done with full commitment to complete it. Thus, he disagrees with President Obama's decision not to have the option of using ground troops available.
