SHEBOYGAN, WI (WHBL) - If you used a credit or debit card to pay for food at the Jimmy John’s location on Calumet Drive in Sheboygan this past July, then your card information may have been hacked.
The restaurant chain announced Wednesday that this location was one of approximately 216 nationwide where card numbers, and possibly card holder names, verification codes and expiration dates, were taken from their computers over the past few months. Specifically, the Sheboygan store data taken was from July 1 to August 1 and only involves those who used their card in the store.
Restaurant officials say they have fixed the breach and have new security measures to prevent this problem again. They also have information on their website for those who may have been affected regarding what to do next.
