SHEBOYGAN, WI (WHBL) - A Cleveland woman was injured in a one vehicle accident on I-43 Friday night outside of Sheboygan.
Sheboygan County Sheriff’s Department Sgt. Jim Gottsacker said 53 year old Lori Thomas was driving southbound in a Jeep Liberty over the Highway 23 overpass when she struck a ladder that was in her lane around 9:45. This caused her to spin out and strike a concrete railing. Orange Cross Ambulance transported her to Memorial Hospital for treatment of injuries.
No word on her current condition or how the ladder ended up on the interstate. The Wisconsin DOT said a lane of traffic around the accident scene was closed for about a half hour.
