SHEBOYGAN, WI (WHBL) - The person responsible for a two vehicle accident in Kiwanis Park Saturday has been charged. 26 year old Nyiaj Lee faces an OWI causing injury felony for his role in the incident.
According to the criminal complaint, Nyiaj was driving his vehicle northbound on Kiwanis Park Drive and was trying to make a turn when he spun his vehicle, forcing the rear end to be struck by another vehicle in the other lane of traffic. Nyiaj and a passenger were taken to St. Nicholas Hospital for treatment of injuries.
During questioning, Nyiaj admitted to smoking methamphetamine within two hours of the accident. He now faces up to six years in prison if found guilty of the felony.
