SHEBOYGAN COUNTY, WI (WHBL) - Gas prices in Sheboygan County start off the new work week at a level that has been pretty consistent for the past weeks.  The website Wisconsin Gas Prices show prices in the county ranging between $3.65 and $3.69 for a gallon of unleaded regular.

That continues to be below the state average.  Wisconsin AAA’s Fuel Gauge Report for this Monday is at $3.67 a gallon, down three cents from one week ago and five cents from one month ago.  Our area average is also close to the national AAA average at $3.65.

The price does remain at least 20 cents above where it was at this time last year.  This is due to uncertainty of future supplies from the Middle East, thanks in part to the turmoil in Iraq.  That has forced the price of crude oil above $100 a barrel for the past month.
