SHEBOYGAN, WI (WHBL) - A garage on Sheboygan’s south side was destroyed and several nearby buildings sustained collateral damage in a suspicious fire early Friday morning. Battalion Chief Dean Kline said the fire was discovered at 922 Georgia Avenue about 12:30 and when firefighters arrived the garage was fully involved with only the framework standing. Kline said there was also damage to the siding of several nearby structures including the home to which the garage belonged. Authorities said no one was living at that address and the fire is considered suspicious and is currently under investigation.
