SHEBOYGAN, WI (WHBL) - Lightning, thunder and heavy rain hit the Sheboygan area overnight. The Sheriff’s Department said the storm felled a tree on Highway 57 near Random Lake around midnight, but that has since been cleared. Lt. Jason Liermann said the rain has also caused mud from a farm field to be washed onto the roadway just east of Ada on County M between Highway 32 and Orchard Road. He said the Highway Department was being dispatched. In the meantime, motorists are being urged to be alert when traveling in that area.
