SHEBOYGAN, WI (WHBL) - The Sheboygan Police Department will be taking part in National Drug Take Back Day this Saturday.
During Sheboygan’s Morning News Thursday, Chief Chris Domagalski said a drive-thru service will be set up at the department’s headquarters on North 23th Street from 10 to 2. Any prescription drugs will be accepted, but not syringes. You can black out your name and other personal information for protection, but please keep the name of the drug visable to make sorting easier.
The overall goal of this service is to reduce the chances of people abusing prescriptions drugs and disposing of them properly so they don’t contaminate waterways and soils.
The Plymouth Police Department will also conduct a collection at the same time at the city’s Walgreens location.
