SHEBOYGAN, WI (WHBL) - Sheboygan firefighters rescued a woman and her dog from a house fire on N. 12th St. Saturday night. Crews were dispatched to the house fire around 9:45 p.m. They say smoke and flames were visible from several blocks away. When they arrived on scene they could see flames coming out of the back of the house. They also saw a woman on the second floor. Crews rescued her and her dog using the ladder truck. The woman suffered a minor burn on her hand but was not transported to the hospital. Crews remained on scene for about 6 hours. There is no damage estimate at this time and the fire is still under investigation.
