SHEBOYGAN, WI (WHBL) - A Sheboygan man is going to prison for his 9th drunk driving conviction.  51 year old Gerald Mitchell was arrested last August after sideswiping a car in the city of Sheboygan.  Police found him falling down drunk at 8th and St. Clair, wet and full of sand, after he had abandoned the van saying he was too drunk to drive.  Judge Terrence Bourke recently sentenced Mitchell to 3 years in prison to be followed by 3 years on extended supervision.

In another drunk driving case, 43 year old Lance Maas of Plymouth will spend 18 months in prison for his 6th conviction.  He was on probation for 5th offense drunk driving when he was busted again.  His probation was revoked and he was given the prison sentence.
